"Message to My Girl" is a 1983 song by New Zealand art rock group Split Enz from their second last studio album ''Conflicting Emotions''. It was written by Neil Finn and released as a single in 1984, peaking at #6 in Australia,〔Kent, David. ''Australian Chart Book 1970–1992''. St Ives, N.S.W. (1993). The re-recording was converted into more of a ballad version than the original. In 2001 the song was voted by members of APRA as the 36th best New Zealand song of the 20th century.
